Major projects in St Albans

Anne Main MP: "As a Member of Parliament I do not have responsibility for planning decisions.

Click here for www.no2railfreight.comNonetheless, on your behalf, I make vocal and unequivocating representations on major planning applications that appear to pose a major threat to the quality of life to St Albans locally, in Parliament and in the media.

Ultimately, these decisions rest with St Albans District Council and its Councillors.

Currently, St Albans District Council is under Liberal Democrat control and is led by Councillor Revd. Robert Donald with whom I have regular meetings.

At these meetings I am kept informed as to the latest proposals by the Council and I in turn keep the Council informed about concerns over particular projects and services that have been drawn to my attention by constituents.
